General Information

Cedar Grange is set in the picturesque village of Cherry Burton on the outskirts of Beverley, a historic market town which also boast’s a vibrant horse racing circuit, attracting visitors from the racing community.

Cherry Burton itself has a pretty duck pond, this attracts a variety of birds, Cedar Grange has frequent visits from the local ducks who enjoy the extensive grounds of the home. We enjoy an array of varying species of birds and our residents love to watch these and soak up the relaxed atmosphere of the setting. The village has a local pub at the heart of the village and an attractive church which offers a ‘café’ facility a couple of times a week and some of our residents enjoy visiting this.

Cedar Grange is a magnificent building, it is believed to date back to 1877. From 1877 to 1942 it was a rectory, housing the Rectors of St Michaels and the church continue to support Cedar Grange with frequent church services within the home. Over the years it has had a variety of uses which include, a rectory, a boy’s school and over more recent times, a care setting.
