Chichester Court is located half a mile from the centre of the town of South Shields, it is close to many amenities and has excellent transport links.
Chichester Court provides residents with a choice of environments in which to relax and meet friends and relatives. There are a number of large, bright spacious lounges, quiet lounges and TV lounges with modern flat screens.
Each resident has their own spacious room with en-suite toilet facilities and TV point. The home provides home cooked food prepared by the qualified catering staff.
A program of activities is available to meet individual preferences, both in groups or on a one to one basis. Chichester Court has attractive landscaped gardens and patio areas where Residents can sit and relax.
The homes person centred approach means that each Resident is an individual treated with respect and dignity. Each Resident has a named key worker and an individual care plan. This will cover their personal and medical history, as well as a record of particular activities they enjoy and any cultural or religious aspects of their care.

Mam's care at Chichester Court is excellent. She is constantly monitored and treated with respect and compassion. All of the staff are friendly and attentive to her needs. It has given me peace of mind to know that her care is their paramount objective and I don't have to worry that she is at risk. They also make me feel welcome when I visit and engage in conversation. I know mam is in the best place for her wellbeing and I am very happy that all of her needs are being met.
