The role is to cover all of our nursing homes in Region 1 of our portfolio and consists of the following postcodes: NE46 2NN, NE65 0AP, NE24 5TT and SR5 2AF
As a Peripatetic Nurse (RGN/RMN) at Roseberry Care Centres you’ll travel across your region to deliver the high clinical standards . We’ll look to you to lead a multi-disciplinary team to make sure that on each shift, at every location, all of our residents get the highest quality care. You can expect a wide range of responsibilities, from making sure new residents are settling in, to helping advance your team members’ skills, and developing care plans that are tailored to our residents’ physical and mental needs and caring for residents at end of life .As a Peripatetic Nurse, you’ll have the freedom and autonomy to make decisions based on best practices and in line with NMC guidance.
To join us as a Peripatetic Nurse, you’ll need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a current PIN .You will also need to have strong, up-to-date clinical knowledge with a good understanding of key regulatory frameworks, including the safe administration of medicines, we’ll also look for a successful track record of producing person-centred care plans and detailed risk assessments. We are looking for that special person who is dedicated and ambitious and will lead by example with excellent communication skills. You must be fully flexible as to meet the needs of the role as you will be expected to cover days, nights and some weekends. You must also have use of a vehicle.
