Care Home Assistant Practitioner(CHAP) – The Evergreens Care Home
Requirements
- NVQ3 in Adult Health and Social Care
33 HOURS PER WEEK – £14.34 PER HOUR
Just like its name suggests, The Evergreens is a beautiful and tranquil home in the quiet residential area of Forest Hall near Newcastle upon Tyne with the residents’ experience and a sense of ‘family’ at the heart of the home.
Some of the key responsibilities for our Care Home Assistant Practitioner’s are :
· Perform clinical skills such as physiological measurements (temperature, pulse, blood pressure), Urinalysis and skin inspection
· Recognise and act on changes in resident’s condition, including changes in physical and emotional health observations
· Administering medication and monitoring its effects
· Leading the care team to ensure care plans are followed
The ideal candidate will;
- Ideally have an NVQ3 in Adult Health and Social Care and a minimum of 1 years’ experience as a CHAP although this is not essential
- Be an excellent communicator and the ability to work well with others
