38.5 HOURS PER WEEK – £13.42 PER HOUR

Nestled in the suburban setting of Penshaw in Houghton-le-Spring in the outskirts of Sunderland, Valley View is an award-winning modern purpose-built home with a separate unit called Penshaw House.

 

Some of the key responsibilities for our deputy managers are :

· To support the Home Manager with the management of the Home, with a particular emphasis on leadership.

· To ensure that an excellent standard of resident care is set, delivered and maintained at all times.

· To take the lead for quality and improvement in care delivered in the home

 

The ideal candidate will;

  • Assist and guide the care teams to provide a safe, caring, stimulating and homely environment for both residents and their relatives
  • Be an excellent communicator and the ability to work well with others
