General Information
Located close to the Northern General Hospital, Norbury Court in Sheffield provides residential and nursing care of the highest standard for up to 58 residents who are living with dementia.
Norbury Court has bright and spacious accommodation arranged over 3 floors. Each of our units, either Nursing or Residential benefit from en-suite facilities. We encourage residents to bring important personal possessions to personalise their rooms , to create a home from home environment .
The home has a delightful conservatory overlooking beautiful gardens, where residents can enjoy the wide range of flora and fauna.
Our philosophy is simple; we want everyone to enjoy life to the full. We never forget that all our residents are individuals and we treat them with dignity, privacy and respect while offering freedom of choice and as much independence as possible.
Facilities and Services
The home has 24-hour Nursing and Senior/ Care staff, as well a full complement of Activity, Domestic, Laundry, Kitchen, Maintenance and Administration staff to meet your every need. Friends and family are welcome at any time. Hot drinks and snacks are always available, and guests are invited to share a meal with residents. Our cook prepares three nutritious meals a day and the menu changes regularly to reflect seasonal produce. Special diets are catered for.
There is plenty going on, and our activities coordinator puts together a full programme which is adapted to suit the needs and wishes of our residents. Activities include quizzes, sing-alongs, reminiscence therapy, indoor games, art and craft, baking and wherever possible, trips out and about.
Types of Care Available
At Norbury, as with all homes in the Roseberry Group, care is our main priority. We believe that by respecting peoples’ dignity, encouraging a healthy and engaging lifestyle and nurturing independence that we can improve the quality of life of all residents staying at the home. The types of care we offer include Dementia Residential and Dementia Nursing – permanent and respite.

Dad moved from another care home. Wow what a difference. Professional staff and management. Cleanliness is brilliant. The care staff are very helpful but remain professional. Dad always looks clean and has his own clothes on which to us as a family is important - it looks like my dad. His care is tailored to him and he is a lot more responsive in the new home and he seems happier.
