Local Amenities:

Leighton Buzzard is a market town, the town centre is a mile and a half from the home. In the town you can find nice restaurants, a range of pubs and a variety of shops. Leighton Buzzard holds a market each Tuesday and Saturday.

There is a library, a miniature railway system and several parks in Leighton Buzzard also, the closest to Swiss Cottage being Page’s Park.

Mead farm is situated 3 miles outside of town and is an open farm where you can feed and pet animals. There are play areas for children. The best time to go is lambing season for the opportunity to see, feed and pet adorable baby lambs!

How to Find Us / Local Transport:

Swiss Cottage sits on the outskirts of Leighton Buzzard on Plantation Road.

The number 37 bus will drop you off on Plantation Road on request. There is a buzzer bus service available also where you can arrange a time and location to be picked up and dropped off. The telephone number for this service is 01525 853566.

There is a train station in the Town Centre with direct routes to London and most other places. Locations without a direct route can be accessed by transferring at Milton Keynes.

Milton Keynes, Luton, Aylesbury and Dunstable are all within a half hour drive of Swiss Cottage.

Leighton Buzzard has a local bus service which enables easy travel around the town and there is also a railway station providing easy access to the town should you live a distance away. In addition the town is just a 15 minute drive from the M1.
