My mother went into this home and the staff were lovely. Her room had all just been done out. Unfortunately, she was only there a week before she passed away, but the care she was given was exceptional. The two young carers treated her with care, dignity and respect right to the very end. General Information
The Evergreens Care Centre is a medium-sized service, located in the quiet residential area of Forest Hall, Newcastle, with 43 bedrooms over two floors. The home is both Nurse and Senior Carer-led, supporting residents with both nursing and residential care needs, including high standards of person-centred care for people living with dementia. In March 2019, the CQC inspected The Evergreens and found the service to be Good in all areas.

Types of Care Available
We are a dual registered home for the elderly and one physically disabled adult. Our aim is to provide support and care for those who need just a little help thought to full nursing care and end of life in a dignified and stimulating homely environment.
We can also offer day care for up to four people and respite holidays for those who wish to remain
in their own homes. We can also support those with physical care need but have a secondary
diagnosis of Dementia.

My wife’s sister is currently a resident and we are more than happy with the place. The staff are very friendly and my relative is well looked after. I would recommend the home to others looking for their loved ones to be looked after.
We are made welcome and nothing is to much trouble for the staff.

When we came in the entrance there was no smell and it is really clean, the staff and the manager are amazing, really looked after my mother when we had to make the difficult decision of which home to choose for Mam.
