Local Amenities:
Edisford Bridge, a local beauty spot, is located less than half a mile from the home. When the weather is pleasant we occasionally pop out with our residents.
Clitheroe Market is on every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday in the old bull ring. A flea market is on every Friday also.
Clitheroe town centre is less than half a mile from the home. There are a range of traditional, local shops as well as the more modern ones. Clitheroe Castle and museum is located in the town centre also. The castle is over 800 years old having been built in Medieval times.
The town has a full health centre which is located close to the train station.
How to Find Us / Local Transport:
We are in the village of Low Moor, just half a mile from the town centre. There is a regular local bus service to and from the village which stops just outside the gates to the home.
The local train station is 1 mile away, well within walking distance.
Clitheroe is easily accessed by the A59 road which runs from York through Harrogate and Skipton and out towards Preston and Liverpool.
