Home Manager

I was born in Blyth and lived in Northumberland until I moved to Dorset when married.

I trained and qualified as a nurse as a mature student, post qualifying I became a Theatre Nurse, followed by time working in minor injuries and then a palliative care unit.  

I spent over 14 years in children’s services – split between clinical and strategic work, and also worked as a forensic nurse practitioner with Dorset Police.

I joined the Adult social care sector over 4 years ago, initially as a Deputy Manager before being promoted to Registered Home Manager, I recently returned back to Northumberland to take up the managers post at Dolphin View. It feels great to be back in Northumberland and by the sea!
