Julie Christon

Home Manager

I am a Registered General Nurse, and I have been qualified for 33 years. I initially trained in Aberdeen, and on completion of training I joined the Royal Air Force as a nurse, serving 6 years, which I loved.

I then moved to the North East of England where my husband is from. I spent many years working as a nurse for the NHS, working my way up to a Ward Sister.

During my career I have developed a strong knowledge and skills in various clinical areas.

My heart has always been within the field of Care of the Older Person, and as a result I moved into the private sector. I started off as a Nurse and worked up to my current post as the Home Manager at Primrose Lodge Care Home. I  love my role, and strive every day to ensure all my residents are cared for as individuals, and receive the highest levels of person centred care .
