Gender Pay Gap Report

Gender Pay Gap Reporting

We are committed to being a fair and inclusive employer and welcome the opportunity to report on our gender pay gap for our organisations.

Across our workforce of approximately 1250 employees, around 80% are female. This gender distribution reflects the wider adult social care sector, where female employees make up the majority of the workforce. Within our organisation, this demographic profile is consistently represented across all hourly pay quartiles, demonstrating that women are proportionately represented at all levels of the business.

Our gender pay gap figures are therefore primarily influenced by the overall composition of our workforce, rather than differences in pay between male and female employees undertaking the same or equivalent roles. We are confident that men and women are paid equally for like work, in line with our pay structures and policies.

A very small proportion of employees receive bonus payments. Where bonuses are awarded, they are based on specific roles or performance-related criteria and are not determined by gender. Our gender pay gap results, using bonus pay, lean heavily in favour of female employees, however this is skewed by the small percentage of staff who are awarded bonus payments, which is approx. 1% to 3% of total employees.

We believe that we are a fair payer and are committed to ensuring equality, diversity and inclusion across all areas of employment. We regularly review our pay practices and policies to ensure they remain equitable and transparent.

Given the balance of male and female employees across all pay quartiles, and our commitment to equal pay for equal work, management do not consider that our gender pay gap indicates any systemic unfairness in how employees are paid within the organisation.

We will continue to monitor our data and maintain our focus on fair pay, inclusive recruitment, and career development opportunities for all employees.
