Location: Dolphin View Care Home, Harbour Rd, Amble, Morpeth NE65 0AP
Salary: £12.60 Per Hour

Hours: 34 Hours Per Week

Your Role:

As a Activities Coordinator you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and leading a range of activities that enhance the well-being, independence, and quality of life of our residents. You will play a key role in encouraging social interaction, creativity, and mental stimulation in a warm and supportive care environment.

You’ll be responsible for:

· Develop and implement a varied program of daily, weekly, and monthly activities tailored to residents’ needs and interests

· Encourage residents, staff, family and friends participation in both group and one-to-one activities

· Organize events such as arts and crafts, games, music sessions, reminiscence therapy, gentle exercise, and outings

· Collaborate with care staff to ensure residents’ health and mobility are considered in all planned activities

· Keep records of activities, participation levels, and individual preferences

· Ensure all activities are risk assessed and follow health and safety guidelines
