Activity Coordinator – Long Meadow Care Home

30-40 HOURS PER WEEK – £12 PER HOUR

You’ll find us in the picturesque town of Matlock, in the beautiful rolling countryside of the Derbyshire Dales. Renowned in the local area for its specialist dementia care and strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams in the local area, Long Meadow provides the warmest of welcomes to all who live here or come to visit.
Some of the key responsibilities for our activity coordinator’s are :
- Help residents to socialise within the care home, and provide a variety of activities that cater for all tastes.
- Plan and initiate monthly rolling and individual programmes, and encourage residents to maintain pre-existing hobbies
- Assist with fund-raising and budgeting for entertainments, materials and outings.
The ideal candidate will;
- Ideally have at least 1 years’ experience in a similar role preferably within a care home
- Be an excellent communicator and the ability to work well with others
