Situated in the beautiful countryside just two miles outside the historic Northumbrian town of Hexham, Lowgate is a purpose-built home with beautiful gardens for you to enjoy.
Some of the key responsibilities for our activity co-ordinators are :
· Help residents to socialise within the care home, and provide a variety of activities that cater for all tastes.
· Plan and initiate monthly rolling and individual programmes, and encourage residents to maintain pre-existing hobbies
· Assist with fund-raising and budgeting for entertainments, materials and outings.
The ideal candidate will;
- Ideally have at least 1 years’ experience in a similar role preferably within a care home
- Be an excellent communicator and the ability to work well with others
