Bank RGN/Registered Nurse Nights – South Park Care Home

BANK HOURS AVAILABLE EACH WEEK – £21 PER HOUR

South Park Care Home is a 70 bed nursing Home providing both General and Dementia Nursing Care. It is situated in Acomb , which is approximately 2 miles from the beautiful and historic City of York.

Some of the key responsibilities for our registered nurses are :

· To be responsible for the safe administration and recording of all medication prescribed by the resident’s medical practitioner.

· To lead the care team and ensure all residents are cared for to the highest possible standard

· Providing round-the-clock care for residents, including monitoring their mobility, food and fluid intake, and level of dependency

· Developing and implementing care plans for residents, and reviewing them on a monthly basis

The ideal candidate will;

• Assist and guide the care teams to provide a safe, caring, stimulating and homely environment for both residents and their relatives
• Have an active NMC PIN with prior nursing experience
• Be an excellent communicator and the ability to work well with others
