Care Home Assistant Practitioner(CHAP) – Rosemount Care Home

33 HOURS PER WEEK – £13.32 PER HOUR

You’ll find us in the seaside town of Whitley Bay in North Tyneside, just minutes from the beach. Rosemount is a lovely purpose-built home with lots of space, indoors and outdoors for residents to enjoy.

Some of the key responsibilities for our Care Home Assistant Practitioner’s are :

· Perform clinical skills such as physiological measurements (temperature, pulse, blood pressure), Urinalysis and skin inspection

· Recognise and act on changes in resident’s condition, including changes in physical and emotional health observations

· Administering medication and monitoring its effects

· Leading the care team to ensure care plans are followed

The ideal candidate will;

• Ideally have an NVQ3 in Adult Health and Social Care and a minimum of 1 years’ experience as a CHAP although this is not essential
• Be an excellent communicator and the ability to work well with others
