At Roseberry Care, we’re on a mission to provide outstanding, person-centred care—and we’re looking for a skilled and confident CHAP (Care Home Assistant Practitioner) to play a key part in enhancing the clinical support provided to our residents, working alongside nurses and supporting the wider care team.
Location: Rosemount, Sunningdale West Monkseaton, Whitley Bay NE25 9YF
Salary: £14.00 Per Hour
Hours: 38.5 Hours Per Week (Nights)

Your Role:
As a Care Home Assistant Practitioner with Roseberry Care, you’ll play a vital role in our care team, bridging the gap between healthcare assistants and registered nurses, providing enhanced care responsibilities while still working under the supervision of a nurse or manager
You’ll be responsible for:
· Supporting nurses with clinical tasks such as wound care, observations, medication rounds, and care plan reviews
· Provide mentorship and guidance to care staff, ensuring high standards of care
· Liaise with GPs, healthcare professionals, and families
· Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and in line with best practice
· Act as a role model for quality, safety, and compassion in care delivery
What We’re Looking For:
· Completion of CHAP training or equivalent (essential)
· Experience as a Senior Carer or similar role in a care home environment
· Confident with medication administration and clinical observations
· NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or higher)
· Excellent leadership and communication skills
