Senior Care Assistant – Haythorne Place Care Home

33 HOURS PER WEEK – £12.42 PER HOUR

DAY AND NIGHT SHIFT PATTERNS AVAILABLE

You can find Haythorne Place in the heart of Shiregreen, a lovely residential community in Sheffield. With six houses, each is home to up to twenty residents with a range of care needs, which is reflected in the care that we offer in our houses.

Some of the key responsibilities for our senior care assistants are :

· Assisting residents with personal care, daily hygiene routines, daily activities and supporting residents with mobility

· Providing companionship

· Administering medication and monitoring its effects

· Leading the care team to ensure care plans are followed

The ideal candidate will;

• Ideally have an NVQ3 in Adult Health and Social Care and a minimum of 1 years’ experience as a senior care assistant although this is not essential
• Be an excellent communicator and the ability to work well with others
