Domestic Assistant – Moorend Place Care Home

16 HOURS PER WEEK – £11.44 PER HOUR

You’ll find us in Walkley, just a mile from the centre of Sheffield. Specialising in dementia care, Moorend Place is a lovely, tranquil home with beautiful fully enclosed for residents to relax in as well as a Dementia Café for resident to enjoy a cuppa with friends and family in safe, welcoming surroundings.

Some of the key responsibilities for our domestic assistants are :

· Maintain cleaning regimes (daily / weekly / periodically) for all areas of the care home

· Assist with the laundry and linen cleaning where necessary

· Cleaning and Tidying designated areas within the home including rubbish removal

The ideal candidate will;

• Ideally have at least 1 years’ experience in a similar role preferably within a care home
• Be an excellent communicator and the ability to work well with others
