Location: Alexandra View, Lilburn Place, Southwick, Sunderland SR5 2AF
Salary: £12.46 Per Hour
Hours: 37.5Hours Per Week (includes some weekends)

Your Role:
As a Housekeeper you will be a vital member of the team and responsible for creating a clean, safe, and homely environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. With a person-centred approach, you will help maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home—contributing to the comfort, wellbeing, and dignity of everyone we support. This is more than just cleaning; it’s about being part of a team that helps people feel truly cared for and at home.
You’ll be responsible for:
· Clean resident bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas (lounges, dining rooms, hallways)
· Deliver effective laundry services including washing, drying, ironing, and returning clothes and linen
· Be an active and positive member of the wider home team, supporting a collaborative and inclusive work environment
· Restock supplies and inform management of low inventory
· Report maintenance issues or hazards promptly
· Participate in training relevant to the role (e.g. COSHH, safeguarding, infection control)
· Respect and maintain residents’ privacy and dignity at all times
What We’re Looking For:
