Situated in Chapeltown, a residential area half way between Sheffield and Barnsley, Chapel Lodge is a purpose-built home where bespoke person-centred care is at the heart of everything we do.

 

Some of the key responsibilities for our kitchen assistants are :

· Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of hot and cold meals, as and when required

· Collect all crockery and cutlery following mealtimes and clean to the required standard as well as tidy the dining room

· Assist with maintaining accurate records of food supplies, and freezer / fridge temperatures

 

The ideal candidate will;

  • Ideally have at least 1 years’ experience in a similar role preferably within a care home
  • Have a Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate, or be willing to work towards
  • Be an excellent communicator and the ability to work well with others
