Location: Regional between Sheffield and Buckinghamshire
Salary: £14.00 Per Hour
Hours: 40 Per Week

Your Role:
As a Regional Decorator/Handyman, you will be responsible for the upkeep and enhancement of our care home environments across multiple locations. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in creating warm, safe, and comfortable spaces for residents, families, and staff. The successful candidate will travel between care homes within the region, carrying out a mix of decorating and general maintenance tasks to maintain high standards of appearance and functionality.
You’ll be responsible for:
· Carry out painting, wallpapering, touch-ups, and decorative updates to ensure a homely, welcoming environment for residents.
· Perform general maintenance duties including minor plumbing, electrical repairs, carpentry, and furniture assembly.
· Ensure all work is completed in a safe, tidy, and resident-friendly manner, minimizing disruption where possible.
· Respond promptly to maintenance requests from care home managers, prioritizing urgent safety-related issues.Support external contractors when on site.
· Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
· Travel regularly across the assigned region with flexibility to support different care homes as needed.
What We’re Looking For:

· Strong practical skills in painting, carpentry, basic plumbing, and other trades.
· Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with care home staff and residents.
· Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
· Full UK driving license and willingness to travel regularly within the region.
