Gardener – Springfield House Care Home

24 HOURS PER WEEK – £11.44 PER HOUR

FIXED TERM CONTRACT OF 6 MONTHS BUT THIS MAY BE EXTENDED

You can find Springfield House in the beautiful Staffordshire countryside, on the edge of the village of Codsall. With tranquil surroundings, Springfield House is a warm and inviting residence for our residents to call home.

Some of the key responsibilities for our gardeners are :

· Keep clear any pathways, roads, driveways and any areas to which Service Users, Visitors and Staff Members have access.

· Maintain the grounds of the Care Centre by grass cutting, weeding and general maintenance of any accessories within the garden area.

· effectively manage a Maintenance book in which defects are recorded by staff members and respond in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will have;

· General experience of maintenance including minor electrical, plumbing, joinery and gardening work

· Good verbal and communication skills

· Good Knowledge of current health and safety regulations
