At Roseberry Care, we’re looking for a hands-on, proactive Regional Registered Electrician who is committed to keeping our homes safe, running smoothly, and making a real difference to the daily lives of others—especially older and vulnerable people.
Location: Regional role covering our 27 homes between Morpeth and Buckingham
Salary: £35,000 Per Annum
Hours: 37.5 Per Week

Your Role
As a Regional Registered Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the electrical safety and compliance of our care homes across multiple locations. This role is ideal for a qualified and registered professional who takes pride in maintaining safe, efficient, and welcoming environments for residents, families, and staff.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Carrying out statutory electrical safety testing, inspections, and remedial works, signing off in line with current regulations.
- Responding promptly to electrical maintenance requests from care home managers, prioritising urgent safety-related issues.
- Undertaking routine electrical repairs, installations, and fault finding.
- Supporting external contractors when on site and ensuring works meet compliance standards.
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and documentation, ensuring full compliance with health and safety legislation.
- Travelling regularly across the assigned region with flexibility to support different care homes as needed.
What We’re Looking For

- Proven experience in electrical safety testing, installation, and maintenance.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with care home staff and residents.
- Strong problem-solving, organisational, and time-management skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly within the region.
