At Roseberry Care, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Quality Inspector to support and strengthen quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across our care homes.

Location: Field Based – Travel Required Across All Services
Salary: £60,000.00 + £5,000.00 Care Allowance
Hours: 37.5 Hours/Week

Your Role:

As a Care Quality Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring our services consistently deliver safe, effective, compassionate, and high-quality care. This is a field-based role involving regular travel to our homes to conduct inspections, audits, and support visits in line with company policy and regulatory standards, including the CQC Single Assessment Framework.

You’ll work closely with home managers and operational teams to identify areas for improvement, support action planning, and promote a culture of continuous quality improvement across all services.

You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Conducting quality and compliance inspections across all Roseberry Care services in line with company policy and regulatory requirements
  • Completing a minimum of two inspections in each of our 25 services every 12 months, alongside additional focused visits where required
  • Carrying out focused audits and support visits to help services achieve action plan outcomes within agreed timescales
  • Analysing inspection findings and producing detailed reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Supporting services to maintain compliance with CQC standards and best practice guidance
  • Implementing and monitoring quality assurance procedures in line with HACCP principles
  • Maintaining accurate records of inspections, audits, findings, and corrective actions
  • Participating in internal audits and contributing to quality improvement initiatives
  • Providing guidance, support, and training to staff on quality assurance processes and regulatory standards
  • Working collaboratively with operational and care teams to promote continuous improvement across all services

What We’re Looking For:

  • Familiarity with HACCP principles and quality assurance processes
  • Excellent analytical and report-writing skills
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships across teams
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach to continuous improvement
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle essential
  • Flexibility to travel and stay away overnight when required
